Interacts and communicates with customers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Interfaces with present and potential customers, many of whom are a part of a very complex, integrated network that spans the Carle enterprise and external customers.
Performs and maintains Security Administration meeting response times objectives for the various systems.
Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed.
Evaluates, recommends, manages & installs IT system security applications.
Works with Corporate Compliance to develop and audit IT security policies and procedures.
Participates in the implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
Provides support to technical personnel in other teams in the proactive and continuous implementation of security baselines, configuration and service management processes.
Works closely with other departments within IT to ensure that all set configurations and security baselines have been met.
The IS Security Account Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining and performing computer security functions including processing security requests and name changes for the organization for Active Directory, E-mail Exchange, (3) Radiology systems, and other miscellaneous systems. Responsible for disabling security access upon termination to prevent security breach. Maintains, charges, and issues RSA security tokens as requested. Performs access security audits as request by Compliance department. Provides problem resolution, research, documentation and communication to all levels of the organization.
