This position will be a part of Analytic Investors, a division of Wells Fargo Asset Management. Join Analytic Investors as Securities Trader 2.The ideal candidate will be proficient in quantitative trading systems, with a focus on Global Equity Program Trading and Foreign Exchange Spot and Forward Transactions. The candidate will need to understand the BS greeks and how they change, futures fair valuation and currency forward hedging costs.
The position will use electronic trading platforms, SAS, Bloomberg and Excel.
The candidate should be able to do:
Performance attribution and transaction costs estimates
Build and maintain Excel based trading and monitoring platforms
Other Desired Qualifications
A BS/BA degree or higher in one of the following statistical related fields: applied mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or engineering
Good understanding of financial mathematics and statistics/econometrics
2+ years trading experience in an institutional setting
Asset classes trading experience should include 1) Equities and 2) Fixed Income
