About the team

The Mutual Funds Transfers sets up and maintains new mutual fund accounts, as well as, the maintenance, tracking and updating for various company lines of business.

What you will be doing

As a member of the ACM Department team you will be responsible for executing and settling money market fund trades, reconciling position balances, accruals and posting income to client accounts.

  • Support ACM by attending conversion meetings and be primary liaison for the onboarding and offboarding clients

  • Account & Asset Setup duties

  • Analyze and interpret a wide variety of transactions, analyzing impact to clients and risk to company

  • Process a variety of securities and cash related transactions with minimal assistance

  • Identify, research and resolve problems, and take necessary actions to balance differences within Trust Support Services Systems and Accounts

  • Contact and assist clients with questions and issues as necessary

  • Review and verify data inputs and outputs

  • Research special items and complete additional projects as needed/necessary

  • Retrieve and utilize information from trust system and other data sources.

  • Primary processor for all Cash Manager activities assigned to ACM

  • Research special items and complete additional projects as needed/necessary

About the team The Mutual Funds Trading Processor monitors and posts all mutual fund trades through the NSCC. The Trade Specialist ensures all manual instructions from clients and automated instructions from the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) are received in good order to allow for timely settlement What you will be doing * Processes all DTCC confirm and affirm files based on established schedule. * Matches broker confirms to trade ticket on trust accounting system identifying/escalating all exceptions. * Affirms trades by DTCC deadline to allow for automated settlement or, if past deadline, manually deliver shares on settlement date. * Ensures all manual trades and deliveries are processed correctly and timely * To ensure straight through processing, proactively identifies exceptions that may cause issues with settlement and communicates exceptions to business lines * Initiates wires for daily net settlement and makes appropriate entries to internal accounts * Identifies and logs failed trades, communicates status to the business lines and escalates when necessary to prevent buy-ins.
