Specialized experience for the GS-7 is defined as one year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-6 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
Reviewing correspondence and documents for grammar, format and completeness; AND
Reviewing and reading incoming mail, correspondence, publications, directives, etc. and routing them for action; AND
Using a variety of automated IT systems to develop reports and perform common office functions such as timekeeping, travel, scheduling, and correspondence control.
