Needham High School is seeking candidates of diverse backgrounds and experiences for the position of Secretary in the Special Education Department. This is an 11 month position in a welcoming, dynamic and inclusive environment.
General:
Will perform duties as prescribed by the Special Education Director
Process IEP's in compliance with special education regulations
Performs office and clerical tasks to support the effective operation of the Special Education Office
Maintains special education files
Works with the Special Education Director and staff to ensure that supplies and testing materials are available
Assists at the front desk and other designated areas when coverage is needed
Handles record requests
Answering phones and greeting parents/ other visitors in the Special Education Office
Additional Duties:
Performs related duties as required by the Special Education Director or Principal.
Qualifications:
Good communication skills and ability to work well with others; strong technology skills; previous work with high school aged students preferred, computer skills (Mac/ Google)
