Under the direction of the Director, this position performs and provides personal secretarial, clerical and administrative support services such as preparing correspondence in final form, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, spreadsheets and documents, maintaining files and conducting special projects as assigned. Performs Paragon tasks to assist in maintain accurate records in our system.

Responsible for filing all RAC documents and Insurance denials. Processes Death Certificates within state regulated time frames. Assists with preparation of weekly department payroll report.

Responsible for trending all the delinquent medical Record stats for TJC. Work with physician offices when we are missing an order for treatment. Provide clerical assistance to the Coordinators/Directors and other appropriate personnel.

Performs other functions as needed. Responsible for BAAs for Anniston.T Three-five years of prior secretarial experience preferred. Knowledge and experience with word processing and spreadsheet software systems.

Thorough knowledge of office procedures and equipment. Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm. Good verbal and written English communication skill.

Proficiency in use of a 10-key calculator. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge and experience with computerized spreadsheet systems; specific knowledge of Lotus 1-2-3 or Excel a plus.

General knowledge of personal computers and associated peripheral devices. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Good verbal and written English communication skills. #

VIEW JOBS 11/20/2022 12:00:00 AM 2023-02-18T00:00 <p>We are currently hiring for:</p><p>Full-time (7pm-7am) and (7am-7pm) shifts</p><p>Summary of Duties</p><p>Provides activities of daily living and other specified patient care procedures for the adult and geriatric patient.</p><p>Essential Job Functions</p><ul><li><p>Provides for patient's activities of daily living with either total or partial assistance as directed by patient condition:</p></li><li><p>Bath or shower</p></li><li><p>Oral and/or denture care</p></li><li><p>Perineal care</p></li><li><p>Turning and repositioning every two hours or greater as indicated by patient need</p></li><li><p>Ambulation</p></li><li><p>Meal Assistance</p></li><li><p>Performs indirect patient care tasks and unit functions: including but not limited to:</p></li><li><p>Answers call lights and relays information promptly to the nurses</p></li><li><p>Runs errands to obtain medications, supplies, etc.</p></li><li><p>Transports specimens</p></li><li><p>Inventories supplies; compiles list of needed supplies</p></li><li><p>Stocks supplies and patient meds when delivered to facility</p></li><li><p>Discharge preparation (packing personal items, transports patient, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Cleans and maintains unit and patient equipment</p></li><li><p>Assists patients with elimination needs</p></li><li><p>Performs simple range of motion</p></li><li><p>Performs finger stick blood glucose test</p></li><li><p>Performs intake and output measurements (oral, IV, NG, drains, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Performs vital sign measurements</p></li><li><p>Obtains 12 lead EKGs</p></li><li><p>Assists physicians and nurses with special procedures</p></li><li><p>Assists with stocking of supplies and assesses inventory needs for medical and general supplies in coordination with the Administrative Secretary/ Materiels Management Coordinator and/or other management staff, and following hospital purchasing protocols</p></li><li><p>Cleans and stores dirty hospital equipment for future patient use</p></li><li><p>Performs other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p>Education</p><p>High school diploma or GED equivalent required.</p><p>Experience</p><p>Minimum of one year of patient care experience required.</p><p>Physical Requirements for Essential Job Functions</p><ul><li><p>Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, 20 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly.</p></li><li><p>Ability to walk and stand 80% of an 8 to 12 hour shift.</p></li><li><p>Ability to push/pull up to 200 lbs. in order to position patients, move beds, carts, etc., and aid patients in ambulation.</p></li><li><p>Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.</p></li></ul> Noland Health Services Anniston AL
