You will serve as a Secretary (Office Automation) to the Commanding Officer (CO) and Executive Officer (XO) of NB CORONADO.

You will manage the calendar for the CO and XO to ensure there are no conflicts.
You will assure correct preperation, typing, and prompt submission of all officer fitness reports.
You will use automated systems to type correspondence for supervisors.
You will receive visitors, both in person and by phone, and direct them to appropriate personnel.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Proofreading documents for correct format, grammar, spelling, and punctuation; 2) Recommending changes and/or establishing practices and procedures to meet new and changing administrative situations; 3) Applying customs, traditions, and protocol to planning an array of events (i.e. Change of Command ceremonies, conferences, etc.); 4) Answering inquiries and/or providing information regarding both administrative and military functions of the command.
