Position Description

Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical duties which support management personnel in the overall operation of a department or service area. Assignments are characterized by a high degree of knowledge and application of department policies, procedures and operation.

Incumbent is expected to interpret and execute the duties and responsibilities of the job with only limited supervision and direction. Position is characterized by the ability to prioritize and organize multiple assignments.

Experience with Charge Entry, Billing Codes, Medical Billing is preferred.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED:

1.One (1) year clerical/secretarial experience.

2.Typing requirements vary by department, see requisition for requirements.

3.Good communication skills.

4.Ability to follow detailed instructions.

5.Level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) varies by department, see requisition for requirements.

Experience with Charge Entry, Billing Codes, Medical Billing

PREFERRED:

1.Post high school education.

2.Prior health care experience.

3.Successful completion of course in Medical Terminology (depending on amount of medical transcription required for assigned area).

4.Bilingual - Spanish/English.

License/Certification Requirements: No

Work Hours: 8:30a-5p

Weekend Requirements: No

On-Call Requirements: No

VIEW JOBS 9/24/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-23T00:00 <p>Position Description</p><p>The Behavioral Health Services Manager (Outpatient) will be responsible for clinical, operational, and fiscal activities of the outpatient Behavioral Health Services. Required to apply frequently a set of management principles to these operations. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services, and administrative and professional programs. Has responsibility for overall clinical quality and performance improvement programs. Works closely with the System Director to ensure consistency in patient care delivery models.</p><p>The Manager has primary responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services. This includes oversight of our comprehensive outpatient core services ,IOP for Addictions, PSR for the chronically ill, and all adjunct therapies associated to outpatient Behavioral Health Services. Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to a specialized discipline. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs. Has twenty‑four (24) hour accountability for assigned area. Serves adult population.</p><p>Position Requirements</p><p>REQUIRED:</p><ul><li><p>Masters degree in psychology, social work or other mental health related field.</p></li><li><p>Three (3) years post masters leadership experience in addictions and behavioral health programs or activities.</p></li><li><p>Licensed as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN or Psychologist</p></li><li><p>Good written and oral communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulatory standards.</p></li></ul><p>PREFERRED:</p><ul><li><p>Experience in budget development and analysis.</p></li><li><p>Experience in managed care environment.</p></li></ul><p>License/Certification Requirements: Yes</p><p>Work Hours: 8a-4:30p</p><p>Weekend Requirements: No</p><p>On-Call Requirements: No</p><br> Northside Hospital Atlanta GA
