Responsibilities

To provide administrative and receptionist support for the Plant Operations with a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and decisiveness.

Essential Functions

Maintain Work-Order Database System, Preventative Maintenance System, and Office Filing System.

Creates on-call rotation schedules and shop cleanup schedules.

Compiles and submits monthly reports for boiler, gasoline, and water meters.

Responds to and fields all incoming calls related to service requests.

Takes and prepares minutes of various department meetings accurately; delivers the minutes to the director within two days of the meeting.

Files all documents accurately according to department procedures.

Responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of mail within the department.

Dispatches, records and assigns all emergency calls for environmental and maintenance requests, e.g., floods, electrical outages, elevator malfunction.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's Degree Preferred

Two years of experience
