This role provides support to the Environmental Services Department at Shady Grove Medical Center. The employee needs good communication skills and customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Typical tasks include providing resources needed for the department to function efficiently, communicating with the internal and external customers in a manner consistent with our values, preparing invoices for payment, maintaining records and files for the department, producing professional reports and powerpoint presentations, and seeking proactive solutions for staff concerns. The candidate must demonstrate actions and attitude that align with the mission of the organization to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Qualified candidates will possess:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
Previous customer service experience preferred
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
Excellent telephone/speaking/communication skills; tact and positive demeanor
Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
