About the Board The Board of Directors is vital in guiding ABG Special Education Consulting's mission to empower parents and caregivers of children with special needs. Board members provide strategic direction, ensure good governance, and contribute to the organization's sustainability and growth.
Available Positions President/Chairman Secretary Treasurer/CFO General Responsibilities All Board Members will share the following responsibilities: Attend quarterly Board meetings and participate actively in discussions and decision-making. Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan.
Oversee the organization's governance and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Serve as an ambassador for ABG Special Education Consulting in the community. Participate in fundraising initiatives to support the organization's mission.
Secretary It'd be great if you could ensure the proper recording and maintenance of Board meeting minutes and official documents. Oversees Board compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Serves as a point of contact for Board members and keeps them informed of upcoming meetings and important updates.
Qualifications: Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with corporate governance procedures.
