Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
A. Enrolling new students/families to the district, including verifying residency and entering all records and information into the district's database.
B. Providing address changes for families moving within Fairfield.
C. Assisting residency personnel with address investigations requested by schools, returned mail or portal requests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1.Requires the ability to work independently and apply good judgment.
2.Conducts registration of new students to the district throughout the school year.
3.Receives and reviews enrollment information and verifies residency, birth certificates, transcripts, IEP's, Special Education documents and any other necessary documents required for registration.
4.Provides information to families about the district and responds to inquiries regarding enrollment into the school district by phone, email or walk-ins.
5.Provides enrollment information to the appropriate personnel within Central Office, school building(s), and the transportation department.
6.Uses automated office systems to prepare letters, reports, memos, electronic spreadsheets, and databases.
7.Verifies renewal of leases, to ensure they are updated in support of continued enrollment within the district.
8.Provides coverage at the front desk reception area for the Central Office, as scheduled.
9.Maintains general knowledge of District Policy regarding residency, in-district relocation and transfers due to family moves.
