Mission

As Secondary Packaging Global Lead Buyer, be responsible:

  • for managing a sub-category portfolio: Unit Carton/ display.

  • for proposing procurement strategy for his/her sub-category whole CHC internal network.

  • taking into account the business needs (including B_Corp Certification, Risk Management, eCommerce if ad hoc).

  • creating value for the business - driving savings journey thanks to all procurement levers.

  • and in line with Sanofi Code of Conduct, values and ethical charter.

  • for deploying the global sub-category strategy and execution in the whole industrial network.

  • for being GOTO person of an industrial site.

  • facilitating relations between site leadership team and procurement organization.

  • closely monitoring with the Site Leadership team the execution of procurement strategies and savings journey.

  • for enabling an e2e consistent/innovative/fruitful development of CHC brands as SPOC of dedicated.

  • Ensure that global performance meets expectations on fundamentals (HSE/Sustainability, Quality, Sanofi Manufacturing System, Supply).

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy

  • Propose & Implement competitive and innovative strategies for several product families based on market intelligence, assessing risks and opportunities, aligned on budget, product lifecycle to deliver value to the businesses.

  • Establish a multi annual roadmap to be executed to deliver saving for the plants and to create value / competitive advantages for the brands.

  • Ensure procurement technical excellence: TCO, sustainability, Innovation, supply continuity, quality / compliance.

  • Identify and engage at appropriate level the lead specifiers from the businesses and Industrial Affairs.

Operational

  • Build and monitor sites budget and roadmap for the category.

  • Organize tender, negotiate prices for the concerned perimeter, established prices list and agreements.

  • Step-in and support any major projects and/or supplier issues for the sites.

  • Drive and monitor the execution of savings opportunities and projects (new suppliers, products substitutions, specification adjustment, etc.).

  • Drive the development of new market opportunities (new launchings, new technologies, sustainable components).

  • Set-up and drive S.R.M. with key suppliers for the product families in relationship with KSOL.

Business Partnering

  • Business partner role to KSOL / Site Leadership Team.

  • Appropriate level of communication/info sharing/working sessions within procurement community to act as One Procurement community.

  • Build and maintain strong interfaces and collaborations with other departments like finance, supply, legal, quality / regulatory, engineering, Science, CSO and Growth HUB.

  • Complexity: subcategory global leader, local GOTO person, SPOC for boost brands

Expected Education, Experience and Competencies:

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Pharmaceutical engineering/process, Packaging Engineer or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years' experience of experience in management and animation of a packaging category.

  • Experience in sustainability (B Corp) with proven track record is a plus.

Language & Cultural

  • Fluent in English.

  • A plus: local language of based location.

  • International and multi-cultural relationship.
