Second Grade Teacher

The Role: Meadow Brook School seeks qualified candidates for a Second Grade Teacher position. Massachusetts Early Childhood or Elementary licensure is required. SEI endorsement and experience with Google Suite preferred. Successful candidates must:

• Establish and maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment with standards of student behavior that promote positive social and academic experiences

• Plan and deliver dynamic and creative lessons that reflect the diverse educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of students and that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, the principles of Universal Design for Learning and District approved high-quality instructional materials

• Administer a wide variety of assessments and utilize data to inform instruction, including appropriate classroom interventions and enhancements

• Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues

• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians/caregivers

• Be passionate about teaching and learning and love working with children
