Reports to: Worldwide Assistant Controller
Specific responsibilities include:
Manages the preparation and review of quarterly and Annual SEC financial statements, including review of XBRL tagging
Ensures accurate presentation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC rules, as well as consistent presentation with other public releases of financial data
Manages the review and filing other SEC filings, including 8-k's, Proxy and others as required, while coordinating with others in the organization, including, legal, investor relations and treasury.
Assist Assistant Controller with review of internal consolidated financial statements, including review of elimination entries and management reporting.
Assist with technical memorandums documenting the Company's accounting treatment and considerations.
Assist with preparation of annual impairment analysis over goodwill, intangible assets and equity investments.
Participate in special projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and other projects as assigned.
Review financial press releases, analyst presentations, quarterly/annual planning models and other materials.
Coordinate internal and external audits relating to Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing and compliance.
Coordinate and prepare schedules and supporting documentation as required for the external financial statement audit
Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting with CPA
Five years relevant accounting/auditing experience, with a combination of public accounting at a Big 4 or national public accounting firm required and prior SEC reporting experience at a public company.
Strong technical accounting experience
Exposure to ASC 815, Derivatives and Hedging, ASC 323, Investments Equity Method and Joint Ventures, ASC 718, Compensation Stock Compensation, ASC 830, Foreign Currency Matters and ASC 840, Leases, preferred.
Solid knowledge of SEC, (including XBRL) GAAP and SOX
Ability to clearly and concisely document technical accounting matters and communicate financial impact to stakeholders
Ability to maintain and manage relationships across all levels of the organization
Must be proactive, detail-oriented, able to take responsibility and maintain high quality and accuracy in reporting with specific deadlines
Ability to work extended hours during peak reporting periods, as needed
Minimal travel may be required
