Job Description

Reports to: Worldwide Assistant Controller

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manages the preparation and review of quarterly and Annual SEC financial statements, including review of XBRL tagging

  • Ensures accurate presentation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC rules, as well as consistent presentation with other public releases of financial data

  • Manages the review and filing other SEC filings, including 8-k's, Proxy and others as required, while coordinating with others in the organization, including, legal, investor relations and treasury.

  • Assist Assistant Controller with review of internal consolidated financial statements, including review of elimination entries and management reporting.

  • Assist with technical memorandums documenting the Company's accounting treatment and considerations.

  • Assist with preparation of annual impairment analysis over goodwill, intangible assets and equity investments.

  • Participate in special projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and other projects as assigned.

  • Review financial press releases, analyst presentations, quarterly/annual planning models and other materials.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits relating to Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing and compliance.

  • Coordinate and prepare schedules and supporting documentation as required for the external financial statement audit

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting with CPA

  • Five years relevant accounting/auditing experience, with a combination of public accounting at a Big 4 or national public accounting firm required and prior SEC reporting experience at a public company.

  • Strong technical accounting experience

  • Exposure to ASC 815, Derivatives and Hedging, ASC 323, Investments Equity Method and Joint Ventures, ASC 718, Compensation Stock Compensation, ASC 830, Foreign Currency Matters and ASC 840, Leases, preferred.

  • Solid knowledge of SEC, (including XBRL) GAAP and SOX

  • Ability to clearly and concisely document technical accounting matters and communicate financial impact to stakeholders

  • Ability to maintain and manage relationships across all levels of the organization

  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, able to take responsibility and maintain high quality and accuracy in reporting with specific deadlines

  • Ability to work extended hours during peak reporting periods, as needed

  • Minimal travel may be required
