Job Description

The Regional Facilities Manager provides leadership and support for all JWN Corporate locations. The RFMs primary focus is to create and support a safe, clean, and comfortable environments that our Employees and Customers can conduct business in. Oversight includes 24/7 maintenance and operation of all JWN corporate locations. The role is a key leader in the Corporate Facilities organization and drives alignment of business needs, Facilities values and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive a safety culture, promoting practices that result in zero injuries and value that a safety approach is the way we do business

  • Lead a team of 2 Facilities Managers, 8-10+ technicians and mailroom associates

  • Responsible for the corporate mail services, internal and external

  • 2M sq. ft. of corporate real estate

  • Responsible for programs and vendor management as it relates to corporate services

  • Build and foster direct relationships with building lease companies and or landlords

  • Ensure the implementation of Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance of facilities and equipment across the portfolio that maximizes utility and minimizes cost

  • Partner closely with multiple business units to deliver service and building performance that exceeds business needs

  • Execute and maintain maintenance standards and best practices through strategies, plans and playbooks that guide teams to standard and superior performance

  • Measure and extend equipment lifecycle by implementing best in class maintenance and reliability practices

  • Be accountable to stakeholders for performance by executing, reporting, and acting on Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements and operational metrics that quantitatively demonstrate value to the business

  • Manage headcount, operating and capital expenses for the department to achieve objectives and meet budget expectations

  • Execute and deliver projects at cost and on time to support business needs

  • Create a strong culture by building and maintaining a high performing team who is engaged, innovative and deeply connected to the mission of supporting our customers

  • Uses customer insights to drive and guide the development of new service, initiatives or programs

  • Promote career development among team members to foster long term and successful careers that results in a stable long-term workforce

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 10 years' leadership in Facilities, Maintenance, Reliability, Operations or Supply Chain Management, or related field required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or relevant field strongly preferred

  • Experience in retail facilities management preferred

  • Success in leading large, geographically distributed teams

  • Experience in owned and leased property management, understands commercial lease terms, contracts and accounting methods

  • Knowledge of business, economic and accounting principles, forecasting, and analyzing data and financial information to manage the business

  • Demonstrates excellent written/oral communication skills with strong presence

  • Ability to work with little direction; resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Typically, 10% - 50% travel, based on business need

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $102,500- $170,500 annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
