Seasonal Warehouse Technician

Role and Responsibilities

Brite Ideas is a 30+ year old company that delivers audio visual technical services and equipment for live and virtual events and productions for entertainment, corporate, non-profit, educational, and art center organizations. The Warehouse Technician principal activities include assisting in warehouse duties, working on gear lists, and cleaning and maintaining equipment. This position works with the Warehouse Manager to ensure equipment is ready for use by all departments. 

·       Prepare and Return Gear – Ensure gear leaving and coming through the warehouse is being prepared correctly for events and returned through the proper systems and quality control measures. 

·       Truck Load – Load and unload trucks for events with the direction from the Warehouse Manager.

·       Clean Gear – Inspect and clean gear in stock or coming in from events for proper quality control. Gear must be presentable and in ideal working condition before returning to stock. 

·       Maintain & Clean Warehouse – Responsible for organizing and cleaning the warehouse, 

·       Other – other duties as assigned. 

This is a Seasonal, Non-exempt Hourly position, pay range from $18-24/hour.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED. 

Must be able to lift approximately 75 lbs. 

Must be working towards or already fluent in English. 

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, be able to climb ladders up to 15 feet tall and be able to work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Worksite is in our warehouse which can fluctuate in temperature.   

Preferred Skills

Ability to effectively troubleshoot and manage time in time sensitive situations, is a plus.

Proficient in Google suite, is a plus.
