Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Less than 25 hours/week

Starting Wage: $14.70/hour plus a pay increase after the first year of employment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Assists management in achieving store appearance and maintenance standards.

  • Identifies and rectifies hazards and/or equipment in need of maintenance to provide a safe environment.

  • Assists management in achieving payroll and total loss goals.

  • Assists customers with problems or concerns, and contacts management as appropriate regarding customers with problems or concerns.

  • Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues that could impact productivity.

  • Processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning duties, and stocks shelves and displays neatly to maximize visibility and sales.

  • Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines.

  • Complies with all established company policies and procedures.

  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.

  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.

Relay messages and distribute mail to the appropriate staff. Provide a wide variety of technical support to Managers. Create, review, and submit computer documents and paperwork for approval and processing. Maintain up to date files. Communicate with Managers of all venues. Help track facility revenue and expenditures. Help monitor necessary administrative supplies and materials to obtain timely replenishments for efficient operations. Monitor the work area/facility with a conscientious effort to promote the efficient use of supplies and materials. Performs other related duties as assigned. Previous Administrative experience a plus! Aquatics Positions $12.00/hr-$24.15/hr There are multiple Aquatics Positions available in SAARC to include: Life Guards, Pool Managers, Ramp Guard Slide Attendants, Swim Lesson Aides & Coordinators, Water Fitness & Water Safety Instructors, etc. Specific minimum qualifications required based on position. Arts Positions $11.50/hr-$14.50/hr There are multiple Arts Positions available in SAARC to include: Instructors, Program Leaders, Technicians (stage, lighting, and sound), etc. Specific minimum qualifications required based on position. Café Attendants $11.50/hr-$14.00/hr Display a positive attitude. Greet customers, set up and open, stock, break down and clean, and inventory. Maintain a safe and hygienic appearance and work area. Take orders, collect payment, and prepare food and beverages. Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures. Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries in a timely manner. Complete safety trainings and certifications as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Customer Service Representatives must consistently display a positive attitude and remain knowledgeable of all facility activities and procedures. Examples of important duties include: greet customers and answer telephones in a timely manner. Transfer all calls to the appropriate staff. Relay messages and distribute mail to the appropriate staff. Efficiently use the computer to register patrons for courses, memberships, and special events. Physically assist customers with locating classes, rental parties, and special events within the facility. Provide safe, engaging, quality drop-in childcare activities for small groups of children ages 5-12. Monitor sports activities in the Gymnasium. Demonstrate a general knowledge of cardiovascular and strength training principles according to American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) guidelines. Assist proper authorities with investigating and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries in a timely manner. Monitor necessary supplies and materials to obtain timely replenishments for efficient operations. Effectively resolve any/all customer service issues in a timely manner consistent with M-NCPPC policy. Ideal candidates must be able to quickly and professionally diffuse escalating situations and safely bring satisfactory resolution. Previous leadership, management and/or supervisory experience required. Personal Trainers $11.50/hr-$26.00/hr Display a positive attitude. Safely demonstrate exercises/routines. Assist clients to minimize injury and promote fitness. Modify exercises according to clients' fitness levels. Monitor client progress, provide information and resources on general fitness and health issues. Administer emergency first aid if necessary. Create individualized plans for achieving client fitness goals. Guide clients through fitness routines, nutrition recommendations, and health assessments. Xtreme Teen Program Coordinators $11.50/hr-$15.00/hr Xtreme Teen Program Staff work Friday & Saturday evenings with youth ages 10 to 17. Staff must develop, implement and be willing to participate in quality on and off-site program activities and community outreach events. Must be 21 years of age with a demonstrated desire to actively support positive youth development.
