Seasonal Operations Associate

Job Description Job Description Summer interns at NOLA Education will have dual responsibilities installing the Star Academy program sites at schools across the country and working alongside their assigned department to further the growth and development of NOLA Education. Installs will consist of installing curriculum, technology, and arranging furniture.

The internship requires the ability to travel throughout the week- up to 80% travel. Interns will assist within their assigned department when not conducting installations. Departments include but are not limited to; Educational Services, Product Development, Sales and Marketing, Public Relations and Customer Service, and Operations.

The internship will run from June 2024 to September 2024. The internship is a full-time minimum of 40 hours/week position at $15 per hour. The internship is paid; interns will be compensated biweekly, and any expenses while traveling will be paid or reimbursed (mileage) by NOLA Education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learn the purpose, mission, and vision of NOLA Education and STAR Academy Perform duties as assigned based on department needs Any bookkeeping, document creation, or content writing required of the assigned department Assist with a variety of tasks across digital and analogue platforms MUST be able to travel throughout internship (Company Covers Travel, Mileage Reimbursement) Other various administrative and office duties assigned Primary Star Academy Installation Team Under the supervision of Star Academy personnel, installs new academy sites across the country June through August Assists with Curriculum installation and technology setup Directs any external parties to appropriate Star Academy Representative Work with a researched-based PBL curriculum specialized to re-engage at-risk learners Qualifications High School degree or equivalent Must be 21 or older Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Must own personal vehicle Ability to lift materials, up to 35lbs Company Description NOLA Education LLC is an innovative curriculum provider for academically at-risk students.
