When areas are found, staff are responsible for treating the areas in an environmentally responsible way.

(Approximately 15-25 hours per week)

Trapping

  • The Vector Control Program runs and maintains approximately 30 mosquito surveillance traps throughout the city of Sioux Falls and in some of the surrounding communities.
