Our Mission:

It is the mission of the Coeur d'Alene airport to create and maintain an air transportation facility which is economical, efficient, environmentally acceptable, safe and responsive to the community it serves.

THE POSITION: The Seasonal Maintenance is an ideal mix of working in a variety of duties related to general labor on the airfield and operating equipment in support of the maintenance function under general supervision.

• $20.00 per hour

• Temporary position - approximately 4 months

• Position is not benefit eligible

DO YOU QUALIFY?

• Do you have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED)?

• Do you have a minimum of (1) year's related work experience with agricultural or grounds keeping equipment.

• Do you have experience with pesticide and/or fertilizer application?

• Will accept a combination of education and experience

• Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a Driver's License and are insurable and bondable?

• Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to any of the designated work sites.

THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU IF:

• You have exceptional customer service skills and you enjoy working with the public.

• You have experience in maintaining grounds including but not limited to mowing, edging, weeding, fertilizer/herbicide applications

• You have experience maintaining air field including striping and pavement crack sealing.

• You have experience with light power equipment such as weed trimmers and sprayers, fire extinguishers, power hand tools and chainsaws.

• You can perform general facilities maintenance tasks including janitorial and general cleaning.

• You have experience operating and maintaining specialized equipment, which may include forklifts or be willing to learn.

• You are able to work some weekends-weather related.

• You enjoy working in outdoor facilities.
