Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Seasonal Lead Assistant position is a front line leadership position responsible for creation of a cohesive team and positive work environment to enable team members to flourish in a direct-to-customer Fulfillment Center. The Seasonal Lead Assistant provides guidance and support to the team members in their Department. The Seasonal Lead Assistant will be required to work a direct function and be willing and able to answer questions of other employees in the Department. The Seasonal Lead Assistant will communicate with the Team Lead and Function Manager of the designated department to offer suggestions, recommendations, and process improvements. This position requires self-accountability, self-direction, flexibility, and a willingness to set the example of providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualified candidates must possess the following skills and be able to give examples of putting these skills to action through professional experiences:

  • Strong computer skills/knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent employee relations skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Must be approachable, polite and have an impeccable work ethic

  • Flexible to work in different departments and shifts

  • Comfortable with and be able to drive change

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7, 365 day environment

  • Possess an impeccable customer service attitude and the ability to drive that attitude to others

  • Possess problem-solving ability

  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment

  • Experience working in a high volume environment

  • Experience training seasonal employees during high volume peak cycles

  • The ability to support the company's unique culture, to act silly at times and encourage a fun working environment is a must!

  • Must be a current Full Time TechStyle employee

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure execution of daily operations within the team

  • Monitor and evaluate Team Members based on goals and standards

  • Solve/respond to fulfillment center problems in a timely manner

  • Assist in the direction of the work flow to ensure goals are met/exceeded

  • Effectively communicate with all levels, creating and adhering to an open-door policy of communication

  • Develop processes that improve/increase effectiveness of productivity and efficiency while ensuring safe work practices

  • Ensure that work is performed according to standards, policies, procedures, processes and safe practices

  • Create and ensure a positive, efficient, safe work environment

  • Drive change

  • Consistently work to support and grow the company's' culture

  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong recommendation from current Lead and Manager

  • Are in good standing at TechStyle in all areas including attendance and performance
