Seasonal Laborer - Street/ Right-Of-Way (Multiple Openings)

The City of West Fargo Public Works Department is seeking ten full-time, seasonal laborers from May through September.

• Summer hours (May - early September) consist of 4 days working 10 hours shifts. Standard hours are 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday

• Thursday.

• There are 10 positions available on the seasonal crew for the 2024 season.

• Start and end dates can be flexible to work with your schedule.

Right of Way Mowing - must be 16 years of age

Hours available May

• August

Includes mowing and trimming. Experience on zero turn mowers preferred.

Wage: $15.50-16.50 per hour

Right of Way Weed and Water - must be 16 years of age

Hours available May

• August

Includes planting of flowers, shrubs, watering (mixing fertilizer/pulling water trailer), and weeding. Occasional help with landscaping, fertilizing, mowing, trimming, and general lawn care duties. This position seeks a candidate with the ability to work and complete tasks alone once given directions.

Wage: $15.50-16.50 per hour

Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license, be able to perform light to heavy physical labor with the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
