ALCIVIA is growing and looking to add a Seasonal Grain Production Operator (part-time or full-time hours available) during the Spring/Early Summer season at our locations listed below. Pay: $18.50 per hour.

Pay Type: Hourly, bi-weekly.

Available Work Location: Cottage Grove, Durand, East Troy, Evansville, Fall River, Markesan, New Richmond, Osseo, and Union Grove.

Available Seasonal Dates of Employment: Today to July.

• You will work with your Manager on an end date that works best with you.

• If you are not able to work through the beginning of July, then we are flexible on moving your end date to an earlier date.

Flexible Work Schedules: part-time or full-time schedules available, with available overtime.

• You will work with the Manager to create a weekly work schedule that works for you.

• Available days to work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.

Potential Future Employment Opportunities: Could possibly lead to further employment opportunities like: future seasonal help or potentially a lead into a full-time position.

Seasonal Grain Production Operator Essential Responsibilities:

ALCIVIA is looking for a Grain Production Operator to perform duties throughout the Grain & Agronomy facility. This position is responsible for incoming and outbound grain, maintaining grain conditions, and measuring grain inventory. Also, will be responsible for loading and unloading bulk and packaged fertilizer, chemical products, and measure agronomy inventory. The Grain Production Operator must maintain a safe & clean environment and maintain equipment & facilities. In this position, responsibilities include working indoors & outdoors throughout the entire calendar year.

• Welcomes and greets members and/or visitors

• Administrative tasks within computer system when semi-trucks are on the scale

• Weigh grain on all inbound and outbound loads and issue scale tickets

• Weigh trucks other than grain as deemed necessary for location

• Accurately grade grain and apply discounts for moisture, foreign material, damage, vomitoxin and other discounts as necessary

• Provide high level of Customer Service by being courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable

• Successfully and quickly answer customer questions

• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed

• Notify management regarding important service issues or customer concerns

• Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules

• Help in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Seasonal Grain Production Operator Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• Previous grain production experience preferred

• Agriculture background preferred

• Clean driving record

• Basic computer and technology skills

• Good written and verbal and communication

• Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions

• Possess a strong set of core values and beliefs

• Accept responsibility while maintaining integrity

• Remain persistence and recover quickly from setbacks

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Excellent customer service

• Positive attitude and approach to problem solving

• Significant physical exertion

• Climb 30-foot bins, rail cars, and 100-foot grain legs (PPE provided by company)

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

• Work in grain dust

• Work in outdoor conditions

• Safety first mindset
