Seasonal Culinary Supervisor - The Rooftop Bar

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our team at the Rooftop Bar in The Mission Pacific Hotel, The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific is North County San Diego's first rooftop dining experience.

Supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic leadership responsibilities. This role leads other colleagues by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing. This position plays a significant role in the overall outlet performance, which includes product quality and service standards. This is a full time/seasonal role with an approximate end date of October 15th, 2024.

This is an hourly position at $26.00

In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. Capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner. Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred. The ideal Supervisor should be able to perform intermediate cooking skills. This person will be required to give direction in absence of leaders.

• Refined verbal communication skills.

• Must have food handlers card.

• Knowledge of temperature and sanitation guidelines

• 4 years of previous line experience in a full-service restaurant

• Able to work most stations in the kitchen.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Fine dining experience preferred.

• Must have availability to work PM shifts and weekends.
