Job Overview:

This position offers a complex blend of employee relations initiatives designed to support the needs of People Leaders and Colleagues. Strong organizational and coaching skills are critical for this position. This role interacts with all levels of management regarding a wide variety of topics and provides support and creates a culture that values retention, coaching, career development and succession planning.

The colleague is also responsible for fulfillment and performing other duties as necessary.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with Colleague Support to understand the business; implement programs, practices and solutions to attain business objectives.

  • Work closely with location leadership to promote a workplace environment that successfully balances positive employee relations with the organization's objectives.

  • Provide consultation to management on various HR-related laws, policies and practices, and ensure legal compliance.

  • Be an advocate for Colleagues and People Leaders in leveraging AskHR / MyHR.

  • Assist with employee relations issues and investigations.

  • Provide prompt response to high-level Employee Relations events; including, but not limited to Reasonable Suspicion and Workplace Violence.

  • Respond to negative employment decisions, e.g. Background Check and SIS Hits.

  • Partner with People Leaders and coach as necessary, e.g. policy interpretation, administration and performance issues.

  • Any other responsibilities management deems essential.

  • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent HR work experience required.

  • Prior DC or operations environment experience preferred but not required.

  • Proven Leadership experience.

Communication Skills:

  • Proven communications skills: written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Leadership/teamwork skills.

  • Negotiating skills

Mathematical Skills:

  • Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and

statistical inference.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

  • This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.

  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

  • May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.

  • Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

  • May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to handle confidential information.

  • Knowledge of PC programs.

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.

  • Demonstrate ability to quickly navigate through employee relations issues and make difficult decisions.

  • Ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment.

Work Hours:

  • Flexibility in work schedule, willing to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary

Primary Role: The role of the Mondelēz International Sales Service Representative (Merchandiser) is to build a world-class Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business at the retail level by fulfilling the merchandising needs of our grocery-related customers through stocking the shelves. Areas of focus will include stocking to ensure full-shelf conditions, neatly-merchandising displays and shelves, building display point-of-sale in all areas of the store, properly-rotating product on the shelf, and creating and hanging accurate price tags / point-of-sale in all departments. A major objective of this role is to establish and maintain rapport with key store individuals, while providing outstanding customer service. This role will be responsible for maintaining a timely and accurate merchandising call schedule, which includes driving to multiple customer stores throughout the shift. This role is also be responsible for identifying and communicating individual store opportunities to the appropriate Mondelēz International personnel.
