Seasonal C-Store Exterior Building Maintenance Technician

Job purpose

To ensure that all C-store exterior areas including store entrances, gas pump areas, store lots, and car wash bays are clean and well maintained for all Holiday Oil guests.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensures that exterior areas of convenience store walkways, parking areas and general lots are pressure-washed thoroughly to provide a clean, well-maintained appearance.

• Pressure washes and inspects mechanical workings of carwash, air, and vacuum stations. Makes repairs as needed.

• Ensures that concrete areas surrounding gas pumps are pressure washed to be clean and well maintained in appearance and function.

• Addresses minor mechanical and maintenance issues when identified and/or assigned.

• Reports maintenance issues and needs that are identified during normal duties that require advanced attention.

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions including heat in summer and cold temperatures in the winter.

• Must be able to follow all preferred work methods and safety guidelines including proper use of PPE.

• Performs other related duties as necessary.

Skills and Education Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.

• Additional mechanical training a plus.

• Demonstrates mechanical proficiency including ability to identify and perform minor repairs on equipment.

• Current, valid Utah Driver License.

• MVR with excellent driving record.

• Ability to work graveyard schedule (9pm to 6am)

• Functional in English, both written and spoken word preferred.
