Premier Agendas, a division of School Specialty, is now hiring seasonal associates. Join Premier Agendas as a Seasonal Production Specialist and experience the fast-paced world of publishing! If you are a positive, responsible self-starter who enjoys working with people in a team environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Seasonal Production Specialist, you will work in the art department, helping process client-submitted artwork for offset and/or digital printing. We have high quality standards, so attention to detail is a must!
Medium to high degree of proficiency working with the Adobe Creative Suite applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
High attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience reviewing/proofing artwork and other written materials for accuracy and quality
Previous customer service and/or call center experience a plus
Familiarity working in a print-production environment a plus
Knowledge of 4-color process printing a plus
Comfortable working with Macintosh operating system
Quick, effective decision-making skills
Must be able to work well under tight deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work overtime, as necessary
Comfortable working individually or as a vital member of a team
Excellent focus and not easily distracted
Ability to move seamlessly from one project or task to another
Must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
