Seasonal Arcade Attendant - Part Time (Tropicana Laughlin)

JOB SUMMARY: Using all aspects of Family Style Service, the Arcade Attendant ensures a safe, fun-filled, and exciting environment for our Arcade guests.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests; displays a courteous and outgoing personality using positive tone, inflection, and open body language. Smiling and eye contact are required.

• Provides accurate information regarding the property and the amenities it has to offer.

• Develops an excellent understanding of the games within the Arcade and the prize assortments. Uses that knowledge to answer guest questions and proactively offer information to guests to build relationships and maximize Arcade revenues.

• Becomes knowledgeable regarding the Intercard kiosk operations as well as the Redemption POS operations to assist guests appropriately and accurately.

• Actively monitors the Arcade to ensure a safe environment for guests of all ages. Reports any suspicious persons or activity to the Supervisor or Security immediately.

• Addresses minor game and kiosk issues to avoid inconvenience and frustration for our Arcade guests. Reports unresolved issues to the Supervisor.

• Uses all time productively. Cleanliness of the machines and all Arcade areas must be maintained, as well as stocking of team member supplies, machines with stock, and redemption counter.

• Uses proper cash handling procedures for any assigned bank funds. Maintains accuracy while processing sale transactions and making change. Signs out, secures, utilizes, and returns bank funds according to policy.

• Completes any stock counts or other projects as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

• Works with Supervisors to display and maintain Redemption counter according to established merchandising standards. Reports any stock or supplies needing replenishment.

EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to accurately make change. Ability to perform simple math. Must be reliable and flexible, varied shift hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime when necessary. Must be an excellent team player supporting all areas within Retail.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Lift up to 50 lbs. Push and pull up to 100 lbs. Dexterity to utilize tools, Standing for long periods of time or entire shift, Maneuvering in confined spaces, Appropriately interact with guests and team members, Frequent Reaching, Bending, Stooping, Twisting, and use of step stool and short ladders, Requires normal vision and hearing range, Can tolerate high noise areas, Speak/Read/Write/Understand English, Work in second-hand smoke environment, Recognize letters, numbers and other visual symbols in use within the Arcade.
