As a Google Premier Partner, we're looking for someone who specializes in paid search engine marketing (PPC/SEM) to join our team and help generate the best performance possible for our clients.

Our clients include some of the world's leading car companies, such as Subaru, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagen Group, among others -- so an interest in cars, motorcycles, motorsports or powersports is a big plus. A careful attention to procedures is a large part of this role, which has room for upward growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize advertising accounts, including keyword research, writing/editing ads, bid adjustments, building new accounts, and maintaining spend keeping accounts within budget

  • Monitor, test, and optimize accounts to increase performance

  • Stay current with advancements in search engine marketing and digital advertising

  • Light internal reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year in SEM, at an agency or client-side

  • Has a solid foundation of SEM best practices, tools and technologies

  • A team player with a positive attitude who wants what is best for the client

  • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with passionate, a can-do attitude, and minimal direction while being detail-oriented with strong follow-through

  • Comfortable and proficient with Excel and Google's suite of products

  • General proficiency with numbers and data will be expected

Qualities of an ideal candidate:

  • Interest in cars, motorcycles, motorsports or powersports

  • Knowledge of 3rd party SEM tools like Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick Search, etc.

  • Understanding of Google & Bing Shopping Ads (PLAs) is a plus

Traffic and sales will be targeted through increased presence and position across search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo!. This position plays a key role in executing THD's organic marketing strategies, as they currently drive significant amount of homedepot.com site traffic. The SEO Specialist is a vital part of the team for driving search engine initiatives, partnering across various internal teams (Merchandising, Core Marketing, IT, etc.) and external agency/vendor partners. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing day-to-day tactical SEO strategies, including: keyword research, analytics analysis and discovering new growth opportunities. This associate will be able to leverage on-page, off-page, mobile, local and social aspects of SEO to meet business goals. This is a high-profile position that interacts across all .com teams and at various levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * 35% Responsible for evangelizing the evolving world of search engines at all levels of the organization in terms of best practices, industry standards, and legal requirements. * 25% Own a large part of the project lifecycle; including any needed discovery and initial assessments, program and/or requirements definition, creative briefs, program implementation and launch, and ongoing measurement and reporting.
