SE Business Development Manager

Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life

Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our HBT organization. You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers. Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers

Increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong customer relationships and new customer partnerships within your organization

Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share in designated accounts and territory

Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales Organization

Territory: GA, AL, MS, LA, AR.

Must be willing to travel at least 50%

  • Bachelors Degree


  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related field

  • Significant fire alarm, manufacturing, electronics sales experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the development of new Massey Ferguson CUE dealers as assigned with a significant emphasis on the South Central part of the US. There will also be a focus on growing our business in current Massey Ferguson dealers whether that be through improved business practices or "share of wallet" growth within those dealers. The last focus area is on identifying potential new dealers for Massey Ferguson. Overall the goal is to grow our CUE business and to meet our market share and sales objectives each year. The incumbent will initiate, develop and coordinate the business plans, working closely with the dealer, AGCO sales team and the Dealer Development Manager to execute and deliver on the plans. Job Function and Responsibilities * Develop, implement and maintain Business Plans with assigned dealers to meet our growth objectives. This individual will assist dealers in the execution of these Business Plans. This will include involvement in things such as: business strategies, product training, direct marketing plans, customer calls with dealer salesmen, demonstrations, trade show support, etc. The ultimate goal is to grow the dealer's sales of Massey Ferguson products as well as achieving the growth targets of AGCO Corporation in the "small ag" segment of our business. * Work closely with the District personnel to achieve sales growth and market share target. * Assist dealers to identify and execute sales and marketing opportunities. * Become an integral part of the dealer's core business by building a business plan in conjunction with the District Directors and District Sales Managers. * Assist and support during the introduction of products with sales training sessions. * Provide dealers with a high level of overall business knowledge including the following: general CUE business knowledge, product knowledge (Massey Ferguson & competitive), AGCO systems & processes knowledge and general support during startup phase of the business. * Coordinate relationships with other key people within the AGCO team including Parts, Service, Product Reliability, Marketing, AGCO Direct and other AGCO departments as it relates to the sales growth. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Education * Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Engineering, Finance or other appropriate discipline. Qualifications and Experience Required Incumbent must have 5 + years experience in the following: * Experience in either the agricultural industry or similar equipment industry. * The incumbent should possess a working knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Finance functions. * The ability to work with other departments in a team environment is essential. * Knowledge in Market Research, Marketing Communications and Training will be a valuable asset.
