Job Summary:
Company: Net2Source, Inc.
Job Title: SDLC Documentation analyst/ Technical writing
Location: San Francisco, CA.

'Understanding of SDLC and experience with drafting various SDLC document types (CS, DS, RS, Scripts, QASR)
Specific hands-on experience with validating, qualifying, and/or using Pharmaceutical GMP QC Lab COTS systems are required
4+ years of experience working as a SDLC documentation consultant
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle,requirements gathering, development, and documentation
Experience with user acceptance testing, use cases and overall testing
Well organized and consistently delivers on commitments
Able to work under tight timeframes and be able to multi-task effectively

  • Pharma industry experience is must
    " Excellent communication and written skills are required
    " Knowledge of manufacturing application & operations

Preferred Skills
" Experience in Labware, Empower LIMS systems
" Experience in validating Lab equipments.

Job Roles/Responsibilities:
Writes and edits software documentation, including user guides for software applications, reference guides, release notes, and other product-related materials.
Collaborates with developers, analysts, project managers, and client services members to gather documentation requirements for product release notes.
Reviews source materials to ensure delivery of accurate information.
Updates product help system, maintaining and updating content such as instructions, screenshots, workflow diagrams, and video tutorials as needed.
Translates complex and technical ideas and processes into accurate and easily digestible document

Specifically, we are looking for a talented Technical Writer who will report to our Director of Product Insights. You are a great match for the team if you enjoy helping our customers by creating articles published for self service, have the ability to explain complex technical information in ways that customers can easily understand and have an eye for detail. To be selected for this role, you must demonstrate a special talent for understanding what our customers need from self service content and working within UserTesting to locate and reconstruct technical tribal knowledge. Last but not least, you are able to translate all this knowledge into clear and easy-to-understand content. And, by the way, this is not your typical writing role because the content will take on many different shapes and formats including FAQs, guided step by steps, and troubleshooting guides, videos, and webinars. To be successful, you will need to work closely with other members of the product team. Collaboration is the key to success in this role! What you'll be doing * Use many different data sources and product team members to identify the specific content our customers need to be successful in the self service channel. * Plan, organize, and create high-quality self service content published to the UserTesting Help Center with particular attention to areas of high effort for our customers * Continuously improve self service content by responding to internal and external feedback * Follow the UserTesting style guide to ensure consistency across all self service content published to the Help Center * Follow best practices for article structure and labels to maximize search effectiveness and Answer Bot performance * Enable customer engagement efforts where content is needed such as scripting webinars and developing slides * Ensure that content needed for proactive support campaigns meets customer needs and is adapted as needed to drive proactive support efforts * Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Support, Marketing and Customer Success An ideal candidate * Bachelor's degree * 5+ years experience in a technical writer or similar role * Excellent written communication skills and proven ability to make complex topics easy and engaging * Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of working independently to get things done * Proven ability to thrive in a cross-organizational collaborative work environment * Self-directed, highly motivated, and proactive * Team-oriented and collaborative * Thrive in a global environment where continuous learning is a must * Enjoy receiving feedback from customers and putting their requests into action * Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines Additionally, preference will be given to candidates who possess experience with the following: * Graphic and video creation and editing experience, highly encouraged * Experience writing content that is easily localized for a global customer base * B2B SaaS contact/customer service center environment * SEO best practices and implementation * Experience with adult learning and education Besides a great work environment and the opportunity to change the world, we offer competitive salary, benefits, plenty of perks, as well as stock options.
