Job Description:
QA Automation Engineer to be a mentor of sorts for team to distribute knowledge and experience of QA Test Automation in particular nonGUI applications. This means Core Java programming, outside of using a tool, like Selenium.
Real coding and development to automate the test of business layer or data layer applications. Should be able to mentor others. QA Automation Engineer, aka SDET for Financial or risk modeling applications.
Must have Core Java skills to code/automate testing for business layer or data layer (back end) testing. Strong backend or data knowledge with SQL and/or PLSQL. SAS knowledge is a plus.
Will be working with Unix/Linux command Line for parsing data. BDD, Cucumber experience preferred. Knowledge of financial or risk modeling is a plus.
Maven, Jenkins and sauce Labs are also part of the platform.
