Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Disabilities OR
Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Disabilities with Autism certification
Intern eligible may apply Required Qualifications:
Monitor and assess student progress on a regular basis, participate in the review and revision of IEPs,
Maintain student and program records.
Provides instruction in all academic areas on an individual or small group basis Desired: - Willingness to learn and be trained in specific strategies to support students on the Autism spectrum.
Experience with assessment and IEP documentation.
Maintains classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
Supports students in social skills development in the classroom, and other activities.
Maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, staff, and community.
Must complete Mandated Reporter Training- School Personnel module before first day of employment. When you apply for this position, you will receive an email attachment with the details of this training.
