We are currently seeking a Carrier Development Representative for our Garden Grove location. LEGACY offers paid holidays, vacation, 401k and excellent benefits.


The Carrier Development Representative will be responsible for developing relationships with Carriers and securing carriers with competitive pay rates.

  • Make phone calls on a daily basis and source carriers to match available shipments.

  • Qualify, source and add new carriers to Legacy's Carrier network.

  • New carrier set up process Maintaining up to date information on all active carriers in Legacy Data Base, I.e. Updated insurance certificates.

  • Build rapport and develop relationships with carriers and integrate them into our system.

  • Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Teams to find loads matching carriers' capacity and where our customers have opportunities, while maximizing over all profit to the company.

  • Negotiate and secure carriers with competitive pay rates with carriers to ensure fair market prices to help build and sustain partnerships.

  • Maintain solid understanding of market conditions, carrier pricing and trends to maximize profit margins.

  • Research carriers, identify potential business partners, and generate interest to help develop business relationships.

  • On going communication with carrier's dispatch and/or driver from dispatch through pickup and delivery to ensure load is picked and delivered on-time.


RequirementsOne year of practical experience

Bachelors Degree

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Ability to be on the phone a great deal.

VIEW JOBS 1/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-10T00:00 This is a Full-time Monday through Friday, day-shift position. This position will float between our Long Beach and Garden Grove access centers. We are seeking a medical front office coordinator to coordinate patient scheduling, outreach, and communication activities. In this role, you will also maintain patient charts, handle physician correspondence, answer phones, manage patient flow, and supports central billing functions by gathering insurance information, physician referrals and insurance pre-authorizations. We invite you to contact us in regard to a position as an Access Center Coordinator at the Greater Long Beach Vascular Access Center located at 16506 Lakewood Blvd., Suite 200, Bellflower, CA 90706 and the Orange County Vascular Access Center located at 12555 Garden Grove Blvd., Suite 200, Garden Grove, CA 92843. Responsibilities * Verify patient insurance and obtain referrals, if necessary * Forward billing information to appropriate central resource * Review patient schedules to maximize patient service (check for cancellations and add in patients; check availability to accommodate an emergency patient; pull patient charts and records as appropriate) * Answer and route incoming telephone calls appropriately * Serve as liaison between physicians and referring facilities; ensure vascular access procedure results are forwarded to the dialysis facility and referring physician * Coordinate dialysis treatments for patients and transportation, if needed * Perform administrative support activities such as correspondence, filing, faxing, mailing, etc. as necessary or assigned * Monitor, maintain, and order office supplies and equipment as instructed * Participate in community education activities and programs * Maintain patient confidentiality; know and adhere to all HIPPA regulations * Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position * May open the access center on a daily basis * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: work overtime with little or no notice as needed; work in another center location if needed; attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed; know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures; know, understand, and comply with all Lifeline clinical and business policies and procedures Lifeline Vascular Care works with premier physician practices to develop and manage outpatient centers that provide focused and coordinated vascular access procedures to patients receiving hemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD). We currently manage more than 60 physician-owned vascular access centers where we provide physician practices with financial and outcomes reporting, staffing and training, facility operations, regulatory compliance, and insurance billing services.
