Merchant and Acquirer Processing (MAP) is a Product Development (PD) Group within the Visa Technology Team. This group is responsible for building leading edge full-service Payment Solutions for our customers by combining global payment processing, fraud management, payment security and reporting systems. We are a group of bright, motivated engineers and technical managers excited about building the next generation of Payment products that will drive e-Commerce, mobile-Commerce as well as POS businesses for our customers.

Our Scrum Masters are highly visible leaders, building bridges across Visa to ensure projects are effectively developed, integrated and deployed with quality and on time delivery into our production systems. Our Scrum Masters also coach and mentor teams to deliver critical, customer facing, enterprise class software development projects while continuously growing and improving!

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.

  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.

  • Ability to track and remove impediments for the team as quickly as possible.

  • Watch and Maintain the quality of Production Tickets.

  • Ensure early and often communication within team and clear visibility with stakeholders.

  • Influencing habit changes that increase team performance at a sustainable pace

  • Ability to shield the team from outside distractions and interferences

  • Organize effective core teams and build necessary collaborations with business stakeholders, operations and implementation teams

  • Lead and coach team in growing its Agile maturity

  • Coach team members to understand Scrum and the Agile Principles

  • Collaborate with the internal teams to fully understand business requirements and desired business outcomes with respect to production issues

  • Work with product owner to ensure a well-groomed Product Backlog at all times

  • Work with Operations group to follow up on any pending tasks related to Production Issues.

  • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems

  • Demonstrate ability to influence Product Development and Management teams to improve product features and supportability of a product offering by identifying problems and suggesting and/or driving implementation of fixes or features.

  • Work as independent contributor mostly and as a team lead if needed by providing guidance to other team members when required

  • Ability to tackle difficult issues and handle strong personalities. Must excel at decision making, conflict management

  • Develop metrics and reports using Rally/Excel and other tools to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals

  • Develop metrics and reports using Excel and other tools to help/summarize executives with Production related issues

Skills :

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and interpersonal skills(Required)

  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time

  • Experience leading and working effectively with cross-functional groups.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation

  • Knowledge of computer software like Java, SQL etc.

  • Hands on experience on MS Office, Jijra , Rally etc.

Qualification :

  • Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

  • MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years' work experience in program management and/or strategy consulting roles

  • Excellent program management and organizational skills; including proven track record of managing multiple, complex projects

  • Ability and comfort interfacing with senior levels of management, employees at all levels and customers internal and external to Visa

  • Demonstrated efficacy in using insightful judgment, managing conflict, fostering open communication, and building collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders

  • Proven skills in translating analytics output to actionable recommendations, and delivery

  • Experience in presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders

  • Ability to tackle difficult issues and handle strong personalities. Must excel at decision making, conflict management

  • Outstanding, proactive communication skills written, verbal and more

  • Highly motivated, self-directed team player

Responsibility level :

  • Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor

We are looking for a talented Sr. Software Test Engineer to join our team! The Sr. Software Test Engineer will play a pivotal role in our Merchant & Acquiring Processing department. In this mission critical role, it's an opportunity to design and implement test solutions and taking it to the production with high quality completing all testing phases, following an agile methodology. The responsibilities also include active scrum team participation, creation and validation of tests using SSDLC in an Agile environment. It is an opportunity to learn, lead and work on technologies for all Merchant & Acquiring Processing applications. * Strong technical competency and experience with J2EE based applications, Restful & SOAP API testing, XML, unit-testing, shell-scripting and Cassandra/Solr/NoSQL is nice to have. * Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents. * Experience using data driven tests to validate API calls in large J2EE n-tier architectures. * Experience developing test automation framework using Java, Junit, TestNG. * Experience in debugging and troubleshooting problems in Linux/Unix based application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere environments is preferred. * Must have experience testing in an AGILE environment and should have exposure to testing environment migration, DB and infrastructure/system upgrades. * Continuous Integration, Code/Test coverage working in different methodologies is a plus. * Must have proactive and strong communications to work well across teams. * Master's degree + 1-2 years of experience in Computer Science or a related field.
