Here at VARIDESK, we are looking for an Associate SCRUM Master with additional experience as a project coordinator. This individual will be responsible for empowering multiple Engineering teams, facilitating our agile processes (Kanban and SCRUM), and providing daily guidance.

We are looking for an individual who understands the challenges of blending multiple agile teams with different priorities to successfully bring software to our fans. This individual must have great communication skills (both oral and written), positive attitude, and focused on creating long term partnerships.


  • Scrum Master dedicated to enabling Scrum and Scrum-of-Scrums

  • Scrum Master that is fluid in VSO/VSTS/Trello/JIRA

  • Manages the ceremonies of agile (Kanban and SCRUM) of multiple teams

  • Assist with the establishment of policies and standards associated with the roll

  • Provide Expertise to teams undergoing transition to agile

  • Assist in the development and implementation of roadmaps, metrics, and strategies in support of Agile methodologies

  • Assist in driving communication around progress, issues, consistency, and reliability

  • Assist in the facilitation of all Scrum (and Scrum of Scrum) collaboration techniques, to include (but not limited to): Release and Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Velocity tracking, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Estimation, and Bug Triage

  • Participate in team building activities

  • Make recommendations and decisions based on data

  • Provide Momentum and focus

  • Make More Happen


  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Able to spot inconsistencies, track down root causes, and creatively identify solutions

  • Ability to manage and complete projects in a fast-paced working environment

  • Ability to work with other SMs on process, sprint coordination

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and translate to requirements

  • Innovative

  • Reporting of team success and challenges

  • SAFe knowledge or experience

  • Ability to be self-directing but know when to seek suppor


  • Bachelors in IT, Business, or related field

  • 2+ years as a SCRUM master with a Technology background or mindset

  • Working knowledge of project management experience is highly desired

  • Experience working in a similar retail and back office.

  • Understands the Development and Engineering processes

  • Business Knowledge Understanding of basic business concepts as they apply to software development or IT implementations, specifically in the areas of cost, time, scope, and quality; strong analytical skills with the capacity to understand cause/effect.

  • Judgment and Initiative Ability to be largely self-directed but know when to seek direction or support, make recommendations and decisions based on data and fact, not intuition and opinion, and provide momentum and direction to a variety of situations in a constructive and measured approach.
