JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leidos Spatial Solutions is looking for a SystemsEngineer/Scrum Master to join our Agile Development team.

This position will work to assist in delivering the nextgeneration of Geospatial Intelligence technologies to our customer. The effortwill harness GOTS, COTS and FOSS technologies to deliver advanced exploitationservices. The team will build anddeliver new and innovative approaches to implement Geospatial Intelligenceexploitation and production using web and cloud technologies.

The position operates in an Agile Development Lifecycleenvironment

The agile development cycle operates on a 2 week sprintcycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving team sprint/release commitments

  • Owning daily scrum stand up

  • Coaching teams in agile practices/mindset

  • Assisting the team with removing impediments

  • Facilitating progress toward team goals

  • Facilitating team agile events: Sprint Planning, Retro, Planning, etc

  • Promoting and facilitating continuous team improvement (technical, interpersonal)

  • Ensuring scrum practices are followed (Time Logging, Comments, WIP limits)

  • Help team to focus on daily goals

  • Regular and consistent communication andcoordination with and between stakeholders and teams.

  • Feature sizing, Velocity and Capacity Estimation

  • Participation in team events: planning, scrums, demos, retrospectives

  • Collaborating with Product Stakeholders to meet mission goals.

  • Working with the Product Owner to create and define story Acceptance Criteria

  • Provide DR support

  • Commitment to continuous improvement of product, process and the team.

They will be expected to be strong team contributors, be proactivein working tasks and resolving obstacles.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Scrum master experience

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Agile Development knowledge and experience

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to paycareful attention to detail

  • Self-motivated

  • Capacity to workwell in groups and the ability to lead a team.

Candidates with the skills below will be givenpriority:

  • SAFe Agilist Certification

  • Scrum Alliance Scrum Master Certification (CSM)

  • Security+ Certification

  • Project Management Skills

  • Jira collaboration tools experience

  • Experience with Geospatial exploitation tools:RemoteView Pro, SocetGXP, ENVI, ArcGIS

EDUCATION

Requires BS and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

Primary Responsibilities: * Identify, classify, plan mitigations, and track results for detected cybersecurity vulnerabilities. * Identify and classify systems and network vulnerabilities. * Set up scheduled and ad-hoc scans/reports, and configure, maintain and use various information security assessment tools. * Engineer solutions and perform assessments on computer/mobile operating systems vulnerabilities and configurations. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of IT or Cybersecurity relevant experience. Additional years of Cybersecurity relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. * Cybersecurity experience should include the following: reviewing cyber security vulnerabilities for risk and relevance and planning mitigations for systems vulnerabilities. * US citizenship is required and able to obtain federal security clearance. * Ability to architect, design, troubleshoot and deploy vulnerability scanning solutions (Tripwire, OpenVas, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, etc). * Strong in-depth understanding of various versions of Microsoft Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems. * Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking. * Strong communication skills; able to successfully communicate with management personnel, technical personnel and third parties. * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl, etc). Preferred Qualifications: * Prior team lead experience. * Experience with web service technologies such as REST, XML, SOAP, AJAX.
