The Scrum Master role, within the Revenue Technology subdomain, is responsible for being a Coach, Facilitator and Servant Leader for their assigned Agile Scrum teams. They will continually look for ways the team can improve and will be able to encourage growth through cultivating strong relationships and trust. The Scrum Master owns the process for the team and creates balance with the Product Owner and the Technical Product Manager. Foremost, they demonstrate servant leadership by ensuring the scrum team has the resources they need, are shielded from distractions and interruptions and works to remove impediments along the way.

What you'll do in your role.

  • Helps teams self-organize and self-manage.

  • Organizes and facilitates daily stand-up meetings, reviews, estimation, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, burndown tracking and other Scrum-related meetings.

  • Use Jira and Jira Align boards to provide visibility to status, metrics, predictability, throughput, quality, impediments, and dependencies.

  • Demonstrates ability to work closely with delivery teams to establish expectations and ensure tasks remain on track.

  • Works collaboratively with Business and IT partner teams to support development and software delivery.

  • Asks difficult questions, removes impediments, and makes issues and problems visible. Escalates as necessary.

  • Ensures development team is working efficiently towards Sprint goals.

  • Coaches the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile/Scrum practices at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.

  • Ensures the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

  • Ensures cross functional coordination (analysts, developers and testers) is occurring early and often.

  • Recommends improvements and assists in changes to best practices to help the team achieve higher levels of agile maturity

  • Mitigates all risks and issues "real-time", executing resolutions on demand.

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams with diverse personalities, during high pressure scenarios, within extremely tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrates awareness of Agile technology practices (e.g., Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration).

  • Demonstrates ability to analyze project issues and challenges and proactively define alternatives.

  • Responsible for budget and sprint status reporting (burn up/burn down) for the projects within their team.

  • Proven ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

  • Demonstrated interest in the Revenue Technology space and articulate how past experience will enable them to achieve role expectation (as described above)

The experience you'll bring.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in Agile development, including coaching on agile methodologies.

  • Scrum Master Certification (Highly Preferred)

  • SAFe Certifications (Preferred) or working knowledge of Essential SAFe

  • Ability to coach a team and stakeholders on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Agile methodology.

  • Strong facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Enjoys solving problems and able to resolve conflicts through strong mediation skills.

  • Communicates clearly and can deliver complex messages and teach new concepts.

  • Motivated, driven, and can influence and drive teams to success using Agile/SAFe/Scrum/Lean practices.

  • Proven leadership experience in achieving successful project outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teamwork in and across teams and organizations.

  • Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards.

VIEW JOBS 3/2/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-31T00:00 Position Summary: This position will be responsible for ensuring all payments are completed accurately and processed to the appropriate financial institutions in a timely fashion and will contribute to the processing of Addus HomeCare revenue cycle and performs crucial day to day functions of the revenue department. This person must work closely with the other members of the Revenue Team, as well as accounting and operations teams. Essential Duties: * Responsible for a wide array of tasks related to the daily payments processes for customers and vendors * Verifies bank accounts daily to be sure that all payment processing was posted properly and accounts are maintained at the proper balances * Performs various banking related tasks, including initiating wires and internal transfers as necessary * Upload files to various banks via the IPSwitch and verifies that all files are accepted and acknowledgements are received * Stay informed of all additions and changes to the carriers and/or procedures involving the revenue cycle payments flow, * Analyze all necessary reports for reconciliation and verify their accuracy * Initiates new procedures when required, including setup, training and documentation * Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information * Assist with the preparing of monthly, quarterly, and annual required filings to regulatory bodies as applicable * Reconcile daily sales batches to transactions originating from the payments system * Reconcile cash receipts to Billing All Chains reports * Reconcile accounts payable to daily carrier reports and finance reconciliation report * Post all sales, cash receipts and payables batches * Upload all completed files to the designated banks to meet specified deadlines * Maintain Daily Payments Summary sheet * Submit daily totals to management for approval of bank files * Run open integration report daily and insure all items pertaining to integration are posted properly * Post the Carrier compensation payment files * Reconcile Carrier payables report * Reconcile and post internal sales file and cash receipt * Create invoices and re-class the sales tax at the end of the month * Back up other team members when they are out of the office or unavailable to complete their daily tasks * Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information * Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department * Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements * Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards * Performs other duties as assigned Position Requirements & Competencies: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred * Meet daily reconciliation and bank deadlines and be able to work beyond normal business hours * Work schedule flexibility to meet payment deadline requirements is required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential * Must exhibit professional behavior and control emotions at all times * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook * Must possess analytical and time management skills * Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment under pressure Addus provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
