Our growing Retail and Direct Banking Technology Organization is looking for an experienced Agile Leader and Scrum Master to support one or more agile teams within the fast-paced and growing environment. In this role, you will be facilitating and coaching teams to help them maximize their potential while helping them deliver great work. You will play a critical role helping build high performing teams, helping the team continuously improve, and removing barriers that slow the team down. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology like machine learning, and work with passionate teams and leaders to make it happen.
This role is best suited for a person who likes working with passionate personalities and isn't prescriptive on the rules of Scrum or Kanban. This job is all about agility, not Agile. The candidate must possess a desire to intersect people where they are, and help them step forward.
Creates a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Helps the team remove barriers that slow them down to maximize delivery flow.
Continuous coaching of the team and stakeholders around the team to realize their highest potential.
Fosters open communication and transparency through building trust within teams.
Leads the team through adopting core practices and tools that help them efficiently deliver.
Facilitates or help other team members facilitate core ceremonies.
Creates visibility to what and how the teams are doing.
Supports the team maintaining accurate data in the appropriate Agile toolset to provide transparency to the roadmap and related priorities.
Represent the team at the Scrum of Scrums (S2) meeting to report progress
Proactively helps the team identify and resolve impediments. Ability to facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, effective manner.
Facilitates retrospectives on a regular cadence to ensure highest priority retrospective points are followed up on and closed out.
Strong drive to complete when faced with ambiguity and competing priorities.
Is active in Agile communities (internal and external) to share best practices and lessons learned.
Manage relationships other component teams necessary for product release in a matrixed and distributed environment
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 4 years of experience in Technology Delivery
At least 2 years of experience working in agile environments
Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Professional
Coaching training such as coaching certifications through IC-Agile
