Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time, Monday Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Works with Product Owners to define the content, scope, and estimations. Works with the business to define the agreed content of a sprint. Facilitates the creation of user stories with the team. Leads planning and estimation.

  • Coordinates daily stand up to ensure projects are on time and on budget. Coordinates with the system engineering teams to secure the necessary development and test systems are in place. Ensures the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

  • Determines and manages, the delivery velocity and quality of the team's outputs. Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress to all impacted teams and leaders. Tracks and manages risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. Ensures on-time delivery of projects using Agile methodology, managing key project tracking assets such as 'Burn Down' charts. Runs project retrospectives to correct the process. Serves as escalation point for team on project concerns and conflicts, identifying and removing obstacles that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal. Ensures team writes test scripts for automated testing.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency with project management tools and/or software packages

  • Proficiency in establishing project management processes

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Information Technology departments and operational customers and/or departments

  • Proficiency in operational and technical project management skills

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree AND One year of project management experience, OR Four years of project management experience

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Experience as a Scrum Master

  • Experience in synthesizing complex or diverse project data and/or information

  • Experience in managing diverse teams and delivering complex projects

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • Scrum master certification (via Scrum Alliance) or PMI Agile certification (via Project Management Institute).

The Scrum Master Intermediate is responsible for applying professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks. Has ultimate responsibility for all assigned AIT agile development projects. Is responsible for coordinating development activities for an agreed work stream. Coordinates the design, build, and testing activities for a series of Agile sprints. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The Clinical Information Systems Analyst Intermediate must utilize the knowledge of clinical practice, computer science, and information technology to manage data and determine components that are suitable to build while maintaining alignment with the professional standards of clinical practice. They are responsible for coordinating with physicians and end users in the analysis and documentation of clinical workflows, performing gap analysis, identifying needed process changes, and developing future workflows during the implementation of new solutions or functionality. The ability to communicate with all levels of hospital leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff is essential for this position.
