We are working with a boutique management consultancy firm based out of silicon valley. Our client is looking to higher a Scrum Master to work on onsite at a Fortune 500 semiconductor company in Research Triangle Park, NC.
This is a full time opportunity that offers competitive pay, upward mobility and great benefits.
This job might be for you if you have experience:
As a Scrum Master for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum
principles, practices, and theory.
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization, including ability to fill in intentional gaps
left in the Agile/Scrum framework.
Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaching to higher levels of maturity, at a
pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution,
or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
Driving business outcomes without assigning or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Assisting with transparent internal and external communication and radiating information.
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Providing support to the team using servant leadership whenever possible, and leading by example.
These are good too, but not required:
Scrum Master Certification
Knowledge of other Agile approaches:
XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous
Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
