Position Summary

The Scrum Master is responsible for the planning and execution of company strategy. The Scrum Master will also be responsible for reporting and team visibility as well as ensuring the team's desired outcomes are met.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects.

Decide on suitable strategies and objectives

Coordinating cross-project activities

Apply change, risk and resource management.

Assess team performance and aim to maximize ROI

Resolve projects' scope issues

Tracking and reporting of all relevant team performance metrics to ensure organizational transparency, including project and release status

Proactively identifying and removing impediments thru consistent focus on creative problem solving and collaboration with appropriate subject matter experts and decision makers

Ensuring project dashboard and relevant documentation and are maintained and current at all times.

Building and promoting an open, trusting and respectful team environment; facilitating discussion, collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution

Ongoing assessment of the maturity of the team(s); coaching the team to higher levels of maturity in order to get the most out of self-organization, at a pace that is sustainable and appropriate for the team and organization

Providing support to the team(s) using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Citizenship: all HCHB require applicants to be US citizens or have a green card allowing them to work in the US without being subject to export control restrictions.

Who we're looking for Toyota Financial Services' (TFS) Information Digital Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Scrum Master. The primary responsibility of this role is to be the servant leader for your team(s) by ensuring clear communication and helping the team close its stories and complete sprints on time and drive the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban/etc.) focused on predictable, quality delivery. Reporting to the Factory Owner, the person in this role will support the Information Digital Services department's objective to integrate Agile & Toyota Way principles into team practices and work products to deliver Agile based module development along with cross functional communication, software technical project management, requirements/user story traceability, source code control, test case management and defect tracking. What you'll be doing * Responsible for managing the Scrum process with the coordination of Scrum team in AGILE methodology for multiple applications and multiple on-going Initiatives * Developing ability to help onboard or act as a mentor to a Scrum Master with less experience * Apply a working knowledge of the different Agile Methodologies including Kanban, Scrum and SAFe * Working with the Business Product owners, Factory owner and the Factory team to plan and build future sprints to achieve project and department Initiative goals while foreseeing and raising risks and RAID items * Integrate Agile & Lean principles into team practices and work products * Facilitates team Agile ceremonies (scrum meetings, stand-ups, project meetings, and meetings to monitor project progress) * Ensures (using SCRUM and AGILE) appropriate, complete and timely team achievement of all documentation, tracking and reporting (including: user stories, project progress, resource utilization, change requests, issues, risks, risk mitigation plans, test plans, test scripts, test results) #LI-TMNA What you bring * Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience * Experience leading large-scale (projects with budgets exceeding $3 million) agile transformations and managing multi-team programs following scaled-Agile approaches such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Disciplined Agile Development (DAD), or other Agile, Scrum or other iterative frameworks at-scale in the financial services industry or similar ensuring initiative are tracked, managed and communicated effectively with stakeholders and customers. * Experience in a leading role working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, BSA's, Multivendor, Developers, Designers, Test Engineers) * Proven success in building strong relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, possess exemplary communication skills and strong business acumen to understand corporate strategy and present actionable findings to senior leadership * Agile Certification from Scrum Alliance, ICAgile, SAFe or other Agile organization. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint What we'll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
