ECS is seeking a Scrum Master to work in our Washington, D.C. office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a meticulous, well-organized, and communicative Scrum Master to join our team. This role will help oversee the development and operations team for a development team at DHS.

  • Lead the scrum team on how to use Agile/scrum practices

  • Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization

  • Facilitate Agile/scrum ceremonies

  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments

  • Lead stakeholder engagement and outreach activities

  • Support and coach the Product Owner in communicating developing backlogs

  • Assist in the development of procedures, manuals, and other documentation

Required Skills:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security

  • 3+ years as a scrum master on a software development team

  • 2+ years demonstrated Business Analysis experience

  • Hold a valid active Scrum Master certification (Scrum Alliance CSM, PSM, or PMI ACP)

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment

  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

Desired Skills:

  • Active DHS clearance

  • Experience with ServiceNow implementations
