We are looking for an energetic servant leader to act as Scrum Master for our Scrum team in Waltham, MA. We require someone who enjoys a fun, fast paced environment, rolling up their sleeves and digging in. Someone comfortable with working independently and thrives on getting things done. This position is accountable for working with the Scrum team to achieve set goals and outcomes as well as managing multiple phases of an assigned product development. This includes, estimation, schedule and plan creation, issues tracking, budget tracking, customer communication and managing changes to scope and budget as they occur.

Essential Job Functions &

  • Acts as a Scrum Master for one or multiple development teams

  • Conducts Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint reviews, Sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives

  • Together with the Scrum team, develops, defines and executes product plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables

  • Provides leadership to a team of various technical disciplines

  • Works with project staff to outline release plans and goals; runs stand ups, regular cross functional team meetings with internal/external teams

  • Monitors the product, program or system from initiation through delivery

  • Interfaces with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed

  • Resolves roadblocks to completion and escalates unresolved issues to appropriate managers

  • Tracks and manages expenses to budget; identifies and mitigates risks


  • BA or MA in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or another related field and 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Certified Scrum Master: 3-5 years

  • Demonstrated experience with Scrum methodologies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Ability to influence cross-functional team without formal authority

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

  • Knowledge of company products, functions, markets and services

  • Experience as project manager is a plus
