Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an innovative individual who has a proven track record of providing leadership within an Agile working environment. This role is expected to perform the role of scum master for our scrum teams that support our Data organization initiatives and help push Foot Locker, inc. to the next level. The team is embarking on a journey of building a brand new data lake platform built using cloud native concepts and the latest tech stacks. Some ideal experience for this individual would be working within the Agile process with supporting custom application development teams. It also be ideal if this individual came from a data analytics background and has experience working with teams that help provide enterprise wide initiatives such as Data Lake, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, etc.

This role will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to get the most out of self-organization

  • Guide and coach the Scrum team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values

  • Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example

  • Working with our Business Engagement / Data Product teams to help prioritize work and translate requirements to our scrum teams

  • Guide and coach multiple Scrum teams (2-3) with different team sizes, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.

  • Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, backlog grooming / refinement and retrospective meetings

  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution for the team(s)

  • Remove internal or external impediments or guide the team to remove impediments

  • Ensure observance of DoD (definition of done)

  • Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and the organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and the organization

  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience and education

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university; or Associate degree from a technical college;

  • Experience working within an Agile environment full-filling the role of Product Owner, Scrum Master

  • Being on the "Program" or "Portfolio" team in the SaFE Agile Methodology

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and basic data concepts such as ETL, SQL, etc.

  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

  • Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.

  • Experience in applying Scrum patterns and techniques (like Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)

  • Master of JIRA, Confluence etc.

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills

  • Bachelors'degree required


  • Experience working within a Data Lake, BI, or Data Analytics organization

  • Experience working in a structured Agile environment, e.g SaFE

  • Previous experience at a fortune 500 company

  • Second or Third level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC)

Position Summary Responsible for the efficient diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of vehicles along with replacement of general automotive parts and accessories. Partner with store management and the desk team to deliver superior service and education to customers on problems and proposed solutions for their vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities * Ensure a thorough safety and mechanical vehicle inspection is completed and documented in the work order system for every car assigned to him/her that comes into the shop. Ability to communicate repairs that are necessary for the safety and operational efficiency of the vehicle to customers and management. Recommends additional repairs and services pertaining to scheduled maintenance, vehicle enhancements, and/or upgrades as appropriate. Adheres to MAP (UICS) standards. * Conduct a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs; including but not limited to brakes, all tire related services, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs, state safety and emissions testing (where required), fluid changes, steering and suspension, maintenance services, starting and charging. Responsible for securing vehicle during repairs and after repairs are completed. * Maintain technical capabilities to ensure proficient, safe use of service equipment. Interprets and applies technical instructions in diagram and text form. * Maintain company directed productivity, training development plan, and comeback performance levels. * Approachable and knowledgeable resource regarding technical matters related to installation and proper application of parts and accessories, while also providing accurate and effective direction, advice and assistance to service advisors, other technicians, commercial, retail and parts associates, management, and customers. * Partner with Management to produce a safe and healthy work environment that complies with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as with company policies and procedures. Expected to comply with loss prevention, safety, and environmental codes and ordinances. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Valid Driver's License. * Successful completion of Background and Drug tests. * 1-2 years of related experience in the automotive service environment. * Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions. Ability to apply mathematical formulas to calculate commissions and discounts. * ASEs required; ASE A1 through A8- Electrical and Engine Performance is strongly preferred; state certifications/licenses where required. * Strong customer service skills. * Strong verbal communication skills. * Ability to work Days, Nights, Holidays and Weekends.
