We are looking for an exceptional agilest to be a scrum master within GRM Technology Data and Analytics Engineering.

The Scrum Master on the Data Analytics and Engineer team is responsible for timely and successful delivery of features/enablers for programmatic business and/or technology objectives that require coordination of multiple scrum teams. Facilitates process and program execution, escalates impediments, manages risk and helps drive program-level continuous improvement.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for developing strategies adoption of agile methodologies and ongoing development of agile capabilities within business unit. You will also initiate and foster collaborative partnerships required for training and coaching; develop relationships that support organizational agility.

In this role you will:

  • Implements consistent process and tools and identify emerging best practices and issues to help continuously advance agile methods and practices.

  • Work closely with executives, business unit leaders, product owners, and squads as an expert on agile methods and to educate organizations to use a variety of approaches to deliver customer value in both business and IT teams.

  • Ensures successful delivery of large impact and/or cross-functional product initiative by assisting in the identification and solution of organizational impediments which limit team's customer centricity, productivity, and/or quality.

  • Provide scaling expertise to align multiple agile teams, collaborate and facilitate quarterly planning with large groups, manage portfolio backlog of epics and features, and facilitate decision making with Product Management, Senior Leaders and Architects.

  • Coaches, mentors and provides guidance to Scrum Masters, Technologists, Architects and other members of the squad.

  • Provide feedback to management at all levels regarding the progress of agile transformations within their teams.

  • Requires ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation.

  • Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.

  • Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff.

  • In-depth knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) with three plus years' experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus building skills.

Application Environments (AE) is seeking a Scrum Master to join our agile group. We have multiple squads and will be focused on this role supporting one to begin and then expanding to take on two squads. About the job: * Guides the scrum team and greater organization on how to use scrum and Agile practices and methodology. * Oversees scrum process and coaches the team; facilitates transparency, inspection, and adaption. * Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manages interdependencies between agile teams. * Works with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog health and prepared for execution. * Shields the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity. * Anticipates and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges). * Fosters close cooperation across all team members; encourages cross-training and team support. * Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal. * Administers metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team. Desired skills: * Bachelor`s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline. * Minimum of 2 years' experience in Agile software development including coaching on agile methodologies. * Knowledge of software development and relevant domains/products/journeys. * Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, IT support structures, knowledgebases, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards. * Ability to coach team and stakeholders on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Agile methodology. * Able to resolve conflicts; strong mediation skills. * Strong communication skills, to deliver complex messages and teach new concepts.
