What we're looking for:

You have a desire to be a scrum master and guardian of scrum teams. You are a scrum master that resolves impediments and have influence over the agile processes. You have contributed in everything from coaching teams about agile scrum, facilitated the scrum\SAFe ceremonies, and enabled teams to release potentially shippable software.

Position Overview:

As a Scrum Master at Citrix you will be a coach for scrum teams - driving collaboration, driving team work and removing impediments while exemplifying project management skills. You value delivery flow and are a strategic thinker/servant leader who believes in building high performing teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote Agile values, principles, and practices within the teams

  • Facilitate value delivery without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work directly. Foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the team.

  • Facilitate collaboration on a daily basis to remove impediments and reduce risk.

  • Promotes a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation

  • Schedule, manage and facilitate Scrum events and SAFe events

  • Grow Agile maturity within development team members as well as product owners, scaling best practices. Encourage greater levels of team maturity through contact coaching and mentoring

  • Build information radiators to ensure proper visibility and transparency between development teams, stakeholders, and the org

  • Help Product Owner in backlog management and ensure the shared understanding of goals, scope and product domain

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience

  • 2+ years of experience working directly with software development teams

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master across multiple cross-functional teams

  • Agile Scrum Certification (i.e. SAFe SSM, CSM, PMP-ACP, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working and managing Atlassian suite tool

  • Experience and knowledge of Kanban framework

  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Deep understanding of Agile values, principles, as well as Scrum framework

  • Excellent facilitation, conflict mediation, and situational awareness skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
