The primary purpose of this position is to perform screenings of any visitor entering the North Canton Medical Foundation#campus to ensure safe health measures are being met. # MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Smile, greet each patient and visitor with a warm welcome and eye contact Screen and log all patients and visitors using approved algorithms and tools Support and enforces hospital policies and best practice measures. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all communications. Support and respect all AH team members, patients, and visitors Communicate with positive intent of your actions Remain calm, use situational awareness and notify security of any issues or concerns Assist in cleaning up work area and anything on the floors around the screening station prior to shift end time Communicate effectively with medical, nursing and interdepartmental staff. Demonstrate, create and foster a work environment that is consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Aultman Health Foundation.

Verify patient roomed in department and belongings are requested by patient/ nursing staff All belongings inventoried and documented on entry in presence of family/representative Form 235 used to document (hard copy) # call Incident Command Center for additional copies Communicate with department to collect belongings from station and document transfer # # WORKING CONDITIONS: 1.### Variable Day and Evening Shift including weekends 2.### Subject to changes in working shifts. 3.### Lunch periods and breaks must be coordinated with other staff members to maintain coverage. 4.### Works in well lighted, ventilated areas. 5.### Sits for most of the working day, although standing and occasional walking throughout the building and to adjoining buildings may be necessary. # # PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.########### 75% sitting, 25% standing and walking. 2.########### Lifting sometimes, up to 20 lbs. 3.########### Some bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching over the head, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
