Description:Note:

What are the hours/schedule the contractor will be working?
This will be a 100% onsite role in Amgen HQ-Thousand Oaks (USTO), please only submit local candidates.
8 hours per day, normal work day/work week (i.e. 8:30 – 5:00)
What hours will they be expected to be onsite Monday-Friday in USTO?
Normal work week, can occasionally wfh depending on ongoing activities.
Will there be any opportunity for remote work?
Yes, but primary expectation is to be onsite.
What type of qualities/characteristics are you looking for in candidates to work best with your team?
Communication skills, patience, motivated, either lots of relevant experience or strong drive to learn, works well under pressure
When reviewing resumes, what stands out to you when looking for the right applicants?
Technical experience: instrumentation such as LC/HPLC/UHPLC, GC/GCMS, spectroscopy (UVVis, FTIR), Karl Fisher (KF), Dissolution, Mass spectrometry (MS), etc, or experience such as GMP work, method qualification/validation, method development, troubleshooting
What are your non negotiables for candidates?
LC experience and no history of issues within a team. I would also like at least a couple of the above skills I mentioned.
3 Qualities of your ideal candidate?
Fast learner, experienced, excellent communication.
Analytical Scientist Senior Associate - Scope of duties includes small molecule analytical method development, routine testing, maintenance of instrumentation, both nGxP and GxP experiments, and method qualification. This role will require excellent collaboration skills, teamwork, and communication. Important technical skills include weighing and pipetting, HPLC/UHPLC, GC, spectroscopy, KF, etc.

Basic Qualifications0+ Years w/ Relevant MS OR equivalent 2+ Years w/ Relevant BS OR equivalent 4+ Years w/ Relevant AS OR equivalent 6+ Years w/ HS Developed knowledge and use of technical principles, the OR, and concepts to perf OR m a variety of standard work in a role.Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:

liquid chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC)

Pay Rate between $44 - $49/Hr on W2 based on experience."This posting is for Contingent Worker, not an FTE"
